Karwan Islami has already started construction work for setting up ‘Sheikh Ul Alam Research University of Kashmir at Bakura over a vast area of land. A central ‘Baitaul Mal’ has been set up in which widows, poor, downtrodden, disabled, orphans suffering from different ailments are benefited. From time to time, Karwan Islami has been organizing relief camps in areas affected by natural disaster to help the affected people. In this connection, under the instructions of President Karwan Islami, ‘Baitaul Mal’ has been set up at Tehsil levels in every district and hundreds of needy students are getting scholarships to continue their education.

In addition, potential students having ability to excel in their career are sent outside the state for religious and academic education. Also, according to Fatmatu-Zuhra (RA) Rehabilitation Programme, the Karwan Islami solemnizes the marriages of orphan and poor girls and of course this has become possible with the overwhelming contribution of people.

The implementation of such progarmmes has become inevitable in contemporary times as anti Islamic movements are run at international levels to project the Islamic in bad light and sabotage its image. If keenly observed, according to a well though out conspiracy Muslims are diverted from the concept of Islam by different tactics across the world and this is being done to weaken the unity between Muslims across the world. Karwan Islami pledges its commitment to enlighten the next generations with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and fight against brutality, anti-Islamic movements led by Christians and enemies of Islam.

Of course, the implementation of ongoing and future progarmmes of Karwan Islami in letter and spirit would be possible only with the full support of people. Introduction- SHEIKH UL ALAM RESEARCH UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR (SARUK)

To add another feather to its cap, the state assembly has passed a bill on October 18, 2010 clearing the establishment of ‘Sheikh Ul Alam Research University of Kashmir’, It may be recalled here that Karwan Islami has linked its educational progarmme Min Zulmat Al Noor with the name of renowned religious scholar Hazrat Sheikh Ul Alam- Sheikh Noordin -Noorani (RA).According to the decision taken by advisory board, the Karwan Islami 15 per cent of poor students will get free admission to continue their studies in which 4 per cent quota would be for Jammu province, 3 per cent for Ladakh region and 8 per cent for Kashmir valley.
